WHERE DOES SOCAR FUEL COME FROM?
SOCAR imports gasoline-type fuel from several European countries, with the largest suppliers being Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece. Euro 5 diesel fuel is imported from Azerbaijan.
Laboratory
We operate an automotive gasoline and diesel testing laboratory that is certified according to the ISO 17025:2017/18 standard and fully meets international requirements.
The laboratory is equipped with European and American testing devices, enabling us to verify all quality parameters mandated by fuel legislation.
Twice a year, the SOCAR laboratory successfully participates in the international "Round Robins SGS-IIS" comparison, where laboratories are assessed to ensure the accuracy of automotive gasoline and diesel fuel testing. To date, all our results have been rated as "Excellent," as confirmed by the relevant certificates.
